Privacy should feel understandable.

EverTree is a senior-care discovery and referral service. This Privacy Policy describes how information may be handled when you visit our website, use the AI Care Guide, speak with an advisor, request information, or interact with a participating care provider.

Please do not submit emergency information, unnecessary medical records, financial account credentials, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive material through general website forms.

Our privacy commitments

Collect with a purpose

We seek information needed to understand a care request, communicate with the family, improve the service, and connect relevant options.

Use reasonable safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information appropriate to its nature.

Give families choices

Families can ask questions, update information, change communication preferences, or make applicable privacy requests.

01

Information we may collect

Information may be provided directly by you, collected automatically from website use, or received from service providers and participating care organizations.

  • Contact details such as name, email address, and preferred communication method
  • Care-search information such as location, timing, support needs, preferences, and relationship to the person seeking care
  • Communications, notes, feedback, and requests made to an advisor
  • Device, browser, approximate location, referral source, and website interaction information
  • Information needed to maintain security, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations
02

How information may be used

Information may be used to provide and personalize the service, respond to requests, support advisor conversations, identify potentially relevant care options, make introductions you request, operate and secure the website, measure service performance, and comply with law.

The AI Care Guide is intended to organize information you provide. It does not diagnose a condition, make a final care decision, or replace professional advice.

03

When information may be shared

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate EverTree, with participating care providers when needed to respond to your request or when you authorize an introduction, with professional advisors, during a business transaction, or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law.

Care providers are independent organizations with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing additional information directly to them.

04

Cookies, analytics, and communication

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, security, analytics, and service improvement. Browser settings may allow you to block some technologies, though parts of the service may not function as intended.

You can opt out of promotional email or text communication using the instructions in the message. Service-related communication may continue when necessary to respond to an active request.

05

Retention, security, and children

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including service delivery, records, dispute resolution, security, and legal compliance. No security method is guaranteed, and families should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

EverTree is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children.

06

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about disclosure. Rights can have exceptions, and identity verification may be required.

To ask a privacy question or submit a request, email hello@evertree.com. Do not include sensitive supporting documents until an appropriate verification method is provided.

How to make a privacy request

We use a straightforward process to understand and respond to applicable requests.

1

Describe the request

Email hello@evertree.com with the type of request and the contact information previously used with the service.

2

Complete verification

EverTree may request limited additional information to confirm identity and protect the information from unauthorized access.

3

Receive a response

The request will be reviewed under applicable law, and EverTree will explain the action taken or any relevant limitation.
